Tenants are the most important part of any building; they bring life and vitality to a space. We take pride in our tenants and the work they do in Hamilton.
Double Barrel Studios moved into Empire Times in 2014, and were the first tenants to move in!
We wanted to Roz Mugford, Creative Director and Partner at Double Barrel a few questions to capture her thoughts on the changing street.
What is your favourite part about having an office on King William?
The studio is one block from our condo! The shortest walk to work ever!
You were the first tenants in Empire Times, how have you seen the street change?
The street has literally grown up around us. When we moved in there were hardly any working professionals on this street and only a few small restaurants. Over the last three years we’ve seen King William really turn into an epicentre for Hamilton businesses – from agencies to law firms to restaurants – and it’s been nice to experience the change.
What’s your favourite place to grab lunch on King William?
Favourite lunch spot is the Mule of course! Just a short elevator ride away!
What kind of business do you do?
Double Barrel is a video production company – we produce video content for all types of businesses, from upstarts to national brands to non-profits & universities. Every day is a new story!
What are you most excited about for Hamilton in 2017?
We’re excited for LRT, for investment in the downtown core, and for this city to continue striving to reach its full potential. We have a long way to go, but the last few years is testament to the fact that anything is possible. Keep it up, Hamilton!
This beautiful 2100 square foot space is coming available on April 1st
